William Hunt Eisenman Rare Book Collection

Humans have been working with - and writing about metals since the Bronze age. As the preeminent publisher of information on metals today, ASM is proud to house a priceless collection of rare books and manuscripts devoted to man's mastery of metals.

Those of you unable to make a trip to Materials Park can take a walk through our "virtual exhibition" of some of the collection.

These 41 volumes form the core of the rare book collection. All of them have been microfilmed and are available for study. For more information on the Rare Book Collection, or to contribute towards its development, please contact the ASM Library.
