What is the Chapter Investment Program (CHIP)? It’s a free chapter investment program that allows individual chapters to combine their excess working capital with other ASM chapters. How does CHIP work? Through increased leverage and constant management, CHIP improves each chapter's return on its investment.
Chapters may choose from three investment options to fit their financial needs.
Guidelines
- All ASM chapters are eligible to participate in this program
- Upon its initial entry into the program, each chapter will provide ASM Headquarters with a letter signed by the Chapter Chair and Treasurer designating the authorized persons and signatures of those granted the authority to invest or withdraw funds on the chapter's behalf
- Changes in authorized individuals under this program should be transmitted to ASM Headquarters in writing immediately
Operations
- Reports will be provided to participating chapters on a monthly basis showing the amount invested by the chapter, additions and deletions, and interest earned during that period
- Records for this program will be the responsibility of the Finance Department of ASM International
- There is no charge for this service
