To receive membership rebates, your professional chapter must meet the Chapter in Good Standing guidelines and the "Minimum Performance Criteria." Membership rebates that are withheld from ineligible chapters will be applied to the Chapter Development Grant Fund, which provides financial assistance to chapters developing programs and activities to meet their members' needs.

Requirements for a Chapter in Good Standing:

• Implement and maintain "systems" to determine member needs and satisfaction
• Implement programs and activities to meet those needs
• Report their results annually to ASM Headquarters

In addition, each chapter must meet the following "Minimum Performance Criteria":

• Submit the annual Financial Report for the previous calendar year by Feb. 15
• Submit the annual Chapter Report by June 30, which includes:

• Chapter Quality and Recognition Program Report
• Executive Committee Roster for the upcoming chapter year
• Technical Program Plan for the upcoming chapter year
• Current copy of the Chapter's Bylaws (only if they were revised during the previous year)

• Submit the Financial Report for the previous calendar year
• At least one Chapter Officer must have attended the ASM Leadership Days program within the past two years
