Registration Confirmation

• We mail confirmations, within one week of registration, to the person who is registered.
• If you registered for an ASM course that is held at a location other than Materials Park, Ohio, you will receive a confirmation letter containing information related to the location, transportation and hotel reservations.
• If you register for an ASM course and have not heard from us one week prior to the course, call Customer Service at 800/336-5152 to confirm your registration and verify the course location and dates.

Course Fees

• Course fees include lectures, course materials, lunches and coffee breaks.

Course Completion

• Upon successful completion of the course (a final grade of 70% or better on exams), you will receive a certificate stating the number of Continuing Education Units earned. (ASM is an Authorized CEU Provider of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training - membership identification #342).

Cancellation Policy

• All cancellations must be sent in writing via mail, fax or email to ASM.
• Confirmed registrations canceled 15 or more days before the course start date will receive a full refund less a $50 processing charge.
• Confirmed registrations canceled between eight and 14 days before the course start date are liable for the entire fee with the option to apply the payment to enrollment in another ASM training course by either the student or another student from the same company (one-time transfer within one year of the originally scheduled course).
• Confirmed registrations canceled seven or less days before the course start date are liable for the entire fee without the opportunity to apply the fee to enrollment in another course.
• If we do not hear from you prior to the first day of the course, and you do not show up, you will be liable for the entire fee, without the opportunity to apply the fee to enrollment in another course.
  

Note: ASM reserves the right to change and/or cancel scheduled courses due to low registrations, or for any other reason, without financial obligation. Should that become necessary, ASM will notify all registrants at least one week prior to the start date. Please purchase airline tickets accordingly.

Tax Deduction for Education Purposes

The IRS permits an income tax deduction for educational expenses, including registration and materials fees, cost of travel, meals and lodging; which is undertaken to:

• Maintain or improve skills required in one's employment, or other trade or business; or
• Meet express requirements of an employer or law imposed as a condition to retention of employment, job status or rate of compensation (Treasury Regulation 1,162.5).

Smoking Policy

• ASM maintains a non-smoking facility. However, smoking is permitted in a designated area outside the building.

ASM International accepts registration irrespective of race, sex, color or national origin. This includes, but is not limited to, admissions, employment and education services.
