Students Camp is intense. There’s a lot to learn. There’s even more to do.
But most of all, it’s fun! And, it’s FREE.

Admission to Students Camp is FREE.* It is also selective.

High school students who have shown strong abilities in math and science, and who will have completed their sophomore or junior years by Spring, 2008 are encouraged to apply.

The strongest applicants will have a basic knowledge of algebra, chemistry and physics. They will also show a strong interest in applied science and demonstrate a desire to pursue a college major and career in engineering and/or materials science.

Participation in science fairs is helpful, but not required for application.

Applications are reviewed by practicing engineers.

Approximately 30 students are selected for each class.

The number of class locations is usually determined by overall interest and availability of appropriate campus facilities.

*COSTS: ASM International Foundation underwrites all costs for Students Camps including instruction, housing (residential camps only), field trip and tour transportation and meals.
